Richard and I attended Compline this evening at St. George’s church in the village of St Cross South Elmham.
“Cast your burden on the Lord,
and he will sustain you;
he will never permit
the righteous to be moved.”

I thought Compline had gone with the Dissolution of the Monasteries, but reading about it, it seems a very sensible sort of service.
